Sudoku fans can now get help from the newest version of Google Goggles
Google Goggles 1.3 is now ready in the Android Market. This new version can instantly scan barcodes and return within seconds with a product, prices, reviews, and in-store inventory. Version 1.3 of the app will also recognize print ads in magazines and newspapers from August 2010 onward. Take a snapshot of the ad while in Google Goggles and you will receive information about the product being advertised.

While both of those features sound useful, Google Goggles can now help you solve Suoku puzzles. The app is so powerful that a Nexus S loaded with Google Goggles 1.3 beat the 2009 Sukdoku National Champion, Tammy McLeod.
