Stik and Stor cellphone memory solutions add up to 8GB storage capacity
US Modular, a memory and storage products provider, has announced the launch of its new line of memory solutions for mobile phones that will add up to 8GB additional storage capacity, called Stik&Stor. The development of these solutions, according to the press release, was provoked by the increased number of applications for cellphones, such as MP3, PDA, portable video, mobile TV functionality, etc., coupled with the lack of significant on-board memory. The additional memory capacity is added via a miniature external storage cell that can be adhered to all handsets, featuring microSD or T-Flash memory expansion slot. Stik&Stor memory modules are equipped with Migo syncing software, which enables users to better organize and optimize their data. Moreover, Stik&Stor allows users to bypass their phone's operating system and directly access its internal storage.
