Sony Xperia T3 gets a new name in Germany: Xperia Style
Sony today announced the Xperia Style in Germany. At first, we thought that this could be a brand new smartphone - but, in reality, "Xperia Style" is just a different name for the Xperia T3, which was officially unveiled last month.

We don’t know why Sony decided to rename the T3, and neither if it’s going to do the same thing in other markets. In any case, the Xperia Style should be available to buy in Germany starting the next few weeks for the suggested retail price of €349.

Just like the Xperia T3, the Xperia Style will have three color versions (black, white and purple), being only 7mm thin. Naturally, the Style will also have exactly the same features as the T3: Android 4.4 KitKat, 5.3-inch display with 720 x 1,280 pixels, LTE connectivity, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of expandable internal memory.

Germany aside, the Xperia T3 should be released around the world next week, with Hong Kong seemingly being the first market to get it.

That snapdragon 400 processor blows away ALL the flagship phones in terms of superior battery life. It is still capable of handling almost all tasks that the flagship snapdragon 801 can. It also costs very little, great for the billions of people who only needs a capable phone and not battery/budget monster that most fanboys crave for. I own a Z2 and i know models like this has more sales than flagships due to their overall balance of usability and reasonable price. Price to performance ratio of such phones are very high and respectable.

Android is Ram and Cpu hungry. Even S800 lags on Note3, due to Touchwiz having so many features, that it struggles. This is Android mini Pc, not Wp or iOs halfbaked platform.

Who cares about battery life. Stingy Oems are not using higher Mah batteries, cause to save production costs. Lmao, everyone wants power Everyone wants more Everyone wants to be knowledgeable We want more, we crave for more, not average.

Extra 200mhz per core on T3 or the superior 5 megapixel front selfie cam with flash on the C3? The C3 also has a 5.5" HD Display compared the T3's 5.25" HD Display. Most specs are similar. Both units will be priced higher than M2 but lower than T2 Ultra. IMHO the C3 is slightly better overall.

Maybe some people prefer the premium taste (stainless steel frame) in the T3, but even so I think Sony has done a big mistake by launching T3. Because it would be much better if they just launched C3 the PROselfie smartphone wrapped in a stainless steel frame. The specifications may not be fantastic, but at least their consumers can get better front facing camera and more premium build than most flagships.

The specs are disappointing for the price...
