Size comparison: Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra vs other midrangers

Size comparison: Sony Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra vs other midrangers
So, Sony has just revealed its two new midrangers. And, just as usual, the manufacturer has evolved its design language, but ever so slightly. The XA2 duo looks modern... yet classic. Of course, we are talking about the rectangular look and the meaty top and bottom bezels. But, at the very least, the XA line has always been about super-thin side bezels and that doesn't change with the XA2 and XA2 Ultra.

So, they are a 5.2-inch phone and a 6-inch phablet, respectively. And those are not 18:9, super-narrow displays, no... They are good ol', classic 16:9 monsters. So, how do the new Sony midrangers compare in size, when put next to some other popular mid-tier handsets? Let's check them out!

"The XA2 duo looks modern... yet classic" Surely you mean 'outdated' instead of 'classic', eh? Oh well, G'Day!

"Oh! Samsung phones have smaller bezels. So all the phones having larger bazels are outdated!" What an idiot

lol, 18:9 phones look even more outdated to me. As if they all don't look the same.

How does the XA2 Ultra have a better screen-to-body ratio than a Galaxy A8+? Are my eyes failing me?

It's a bad joke the Sony fans are spreading but of course, anyone can see the truth for themselves.

Yeah, man everyone is lying. From Gsmarena to Phonearena. Only "smart" samsung fans see the "truth". If only those "smart" samsung fanboys know how to measure screen to body ration on different aspect ratio phone then they could've also realize how dumb they are. But I guess it's not going to happen to those people with an IQ of a Cat. LUL.

Galaxy A8+ has thick side bezels, whereas the XA2 series has almost zero on the sides. The rounded display corners probably contributed to the lower STB ratio.

9.5 and 9.7mm thick but still at 3000+mah battery? Is Sony trolling the consumers?

Mine is 6.9mm, bigger battery than any iphone. Not much different.
