The highly-anticipated
Nokia 8 is likely to be unveiled on August 16, but much of the information related to the flagship has already leaked online, so there's little else to learn aside from price and availability.
As many of you probably know by now, the
Nokia 8 feature 13-megapixel dual camera with
Zeiss branding, and a 5.3-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
One thing that we didn't know until now is whether or not consumers purchasing the
Nokia 8 will be able to take good selfie pictures. Well, it appears that the flagship will include a 13-megapixel camera on the front, so if you were planning to get it, then you won't have to worry about the quality of selfie pictures or videos (it can shoot 4K videos).
The 13-megapixel dual-camera setup comprises of two sensors: RGB and monochromatic. The rest of the phone's specs include a powerful
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB expandable storage.
Although it's unlikely that the
Nokia 8 will ship with Android O on board, the smartphone was recently spotted running Google's newest OS version, which means HMD is already testing it.
Finally, rumor has it
Nokia 8 will cost around €520 in Europe, which is much less than we expected. Still, let's take this with a grain of salt until HMD makes the phone official.
