Save $175 on the latest 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro
With Apple releasing iPadOS for the iPad and iPad Pro later this year, the company's tablets are going to have plenty of new features that will improve the experience of using one of these devices. Multitasking will be improved, Safari will offer up only the desktop versions of websites, highlighting text will be much easier and there will be a new home screen that is able to show more app icons. The new iPadOS also features support for external hard drives and will allow users to wield a wireless mouse with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity.

So now might be a good time to consider picking up an Apple iPad Pro, especially the latest version of the slate that was launched last year. This is the model with thinner bezels, a TrueDepth Camera and Face ID. And it supports the optional second-generation Apple Pencil that changes tools with a double tap, and magnetically attaches to the tablet for storage and charging. The latest iPad Pro is driven by Apple's A12X Bionic chipset, currently the firm's most powerful chipset. The device is equipped with a Type-C USB port and an 18W fast charger is included in the box.

The Wi-Fi only 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 64GB of storage is now on sale from Walmart and Amazon (via The Verge) for $824. Both normally sell this particular tablet for $999 so you are saving $175 from the retail price of the device. If you need more storage, Amazon has the 256GB 11-inch iPad Pro on sale for $824.99.

Mother's Day is over and so Father's Day has passed. The holiday shopping season is still months away. So instead of buying something for others, why not be a little selfish and pick up one of the latest iPad Pro models on sale. You'll be ready for the rollout of iPadOS when Apple starts disseminating its new operating system for its tablets.
