Save $1.99 by downloading "jumper" game Beat Stomper, which is the Free iOS App of the Week

From now until the end of Wednesday, you can save $1.99 by downloading Beat Stomper on your iPhone or iPad for free. After all, the game is the Free iOS App of the Week! With its electronic music soundtrack in the background, players get to control a small square by tapping on the screen. This forces the square to jump in the air. Tapping the screen again brings the square down. Your goal is to move it to the next platform. Since the platforms move from side to side, this task is not a slam dunk by any means.

Beat Stomper requires you to have at least 136MB of storage available on your iOS device. You can check out the game in action by clicking on the video at the top of this story. And if you're an Android user, we have some good news. The game is available on the Google Play Store for free, and there are no in-app purchasers offered. However, the Android version of the game does come with ads that you will have to put up with.
