Samsung's upcoming top-tier Galaxy Tab S5 tablet has powerful specs
It looks like the Galaxy Note 10 won't be the only top-tier product that Samsung plans to introduce in August. Another Samsung high-end tablet has just popped up on Geekbench, the go-to place for info on unreleased phones and tablets, and judging by its specs this is clearly the better version of the Galaxy Tab S5e.

Unlike the Galaxy Tab S5e which is powered by a mid-range chipset, a Snapdragon 670 processor, the upcoming model includes a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU. Spotted by GizChina, the listing on Geekbench also suggests the tablet will be equipped with 6GB RAM, the same amount of memory inside the current Galaxy Tab S5e model.

Since Geekbench doesn't list details about a device's display, that piece of information remains a mystery for the moment. Still, if Samsung plans to slightly upgrade the Galaxy Tab S5e, then we might be looking at the same specs with the exception of the more powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset.

If that's the case, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5 should boast a large 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display and either 64GB or 128GB storage. It remains to be seen whether or not Samsung will opt for the same 7,000 mAh battery or will switch it for a slightly better one, although the Snapdragon 855 is very power efficient.

Rumor has it that Samsung plans to reveal the Galaxy Note 10 in August, but we're not yet convinced that the South Korean company will use the opportunity to introduced yet another high-end product. Even if the Galaxy Tab S5 won't be announced alongside the next Note series phone, we should definitely get it in early September at IFA trade fair.
