Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 (2019) full specs and press images leak ahead of announcement

The Galaxy Tab A 8 (2019) is Samsung's next budget-friendly Android tablet, which is expected to be unveiled this month. It's not the only tablet Samsung has in the pipeline, but it's definitely the cheapest one based on the leaked specs sheet.

Besides the pictures published recently by Winfuture.de, many details about the tablet's specs have leaked as well. We've learned from the same German website that the Galaxy Tab A 8 (2019) will be powered by a low-end 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

As the name suggests, the tablet sports an 8-inch LCD display with 16:10 format ratio. There's also an 8-megapixel camera on the back, which is decent for a tablet. Unfortunately, the 2-megapixel selfie camera is a bit disappointing, even if kind of standard for entry-level slabs.

The good news is the tablet will feature 4G LTE support, a 3.5mm audio port, and a massive 5,100 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab A 8 (2019) will be available for purchase in silver gray and black colors for an unknown price.

Apparently, Samsung will reveal the new tablet, which will ship with Android 9.0 Pie on board, in the coming days, so stay tuned for more on the subject.
