Samsung Galaxy A8 full spec sheet leaks

Samsung Galaxy A8 full spec sheet leaks
The full spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy A8 has now leaked out, confirming all the latest leaks and rumors about the upcoming thinnest Samsung phone ever made.

The Galaxy A8 will indeed have three major highlights: its extremely slim, 5.9mm profile, yet a rather larger 3,050mAh battery pack, and a 16-megapixel main camera with real-time HDR and an f/1.9 aperture lens.

The detailed specs come from what looks like an official listing and show the following:

  • Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip (4x ARM Cortex-A53 @ 1.7GHz, 4 Cortex-A53 @ 1.0GHz), Adreno 405 GPU
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front cam
  • 3,050mAh battery

With so many leaks in the past couple of days, we only expect Samsung to officially unveil the Galaxy A8 (with no surprises) in the next few days.

Looks promising. If only they get the pricing right and don't price it ridiculously just for being thin and made of metal

Really? Youre going to compare these two brands. Remember one thing dude, apart from china, anywhere else in the world, Samsung after sales services are way way superior than Meizu, Xiaomi ar OnePlus. Personally, I value that a lot if I am buying phones above $300.

What's wrong with it? It's a mid-range phone, it's just fine

Note 4's battery life is already fantastic.

Nope, I am using it for past 8 months. On kitkat it was indeed fantastic. But after the lollipop update it has been horrible. hope the 5.1.1 update fixes that. :(

Samsung has to nail the price point. A series looks awesome except for A3 which sucks in display and the price. Others are great but Pricing isn't competitive. But that doesn't matter in my country because the Brand is more important here.

It's a little bit sad, they are still placing the speakers on the back of the phone. The display size is a little bit big now, it makes the whole phone big now. 157 mm is pretty big in comparison with the S6 for example. It should have a 5,5 inch display and it would be nicer.

Give us the S6 camera (with OIS, f/1.9 etc), right price and that's perfect !

well 5.7 inch and 5.9 mm thin and have 3050 mAh battery , that's really good , now we are sure that the note 5 is going to have a battery over 3700 mAh at least with a thickness within 7 mm I'm a fan already
