Rumor: Pantech Perception launch on Verizon set for April 25

5comments
The Pantech Perception is a yet-unannounced smartphone we've been hearing rumors about since January. That's when a press image of the device was leaked on the web along with a handful of hardware specifications. What we're looking at is a mid-range device bound to join the ranks of Verizon in the very near future. How near, you ask? Well, according to evleaks, the "Pantech Perception launching April 25th on Verizon".

According to rumors, the Pantech Perception comes with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 system-on-a-chip sporting a 1.5GHz CPU – not bad, but nothing to set new Quadrant high scores with. The exact size of its screen isn't yet known, but its resolution is said to be of 720 by 1280 pixels. Rest assured that the smartphone will come with 4G LTE support for Verizon's wireless network.

Not much more is known about the Pantech Perception at this time, but the blanks will most likely get filled in the coming days, assuming the aforementioned launch date turns out to be correct.
