Rogers to offer RIM's BlackBerry Playbook early next year, announces the carrier's stoic VP
After announcing how tablet sales for Rogers have been stronger than expected this year, the carrier's VP-John Boynton-said that he expects tablets to lead Roger's mobile internet category in 2011. At Roger's TabLife conference, Boynton also mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy Tab is selling out as soon as they hit the stores. The executive also noted that the Wi-Fi version of the BlackBerry PlayBook will be launched early in 2011 with the 3G model rolling out as soon as it is available.

At the conference, RIM's VP of Special Projects, David Neale, had a chance to show off to the crowd the BlackBerry PlayBook which is being called "The world’s 1st professional tablet" by the manufacturer.
