Hours before unveiling, press images leak for the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro
Tomorrow, OnePlus will be introducing the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. Today, press images of both phones were published by WinFuture. The OnePlus 7T is taking its 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display (and its waterdrop notch) to the U.S.; the screen sports a teardrop notch, a 1080 x 2340 resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset will be powered by Qualcomm's overclocked Snapdragon 855+ Mobile Platform with an enhanced Adreno 640 GPU that offers a 15% improvement in graphics performance. The phone is equipped with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. And the handset will feature a circular triple camera module on the back (it's the 'in' thing in China this year) with a 48MP primary camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 16MP Ultra-wide camera. The front-facing selfie snapper weighs in at 16MP. Keeping the lights on is a 3800mAh battery.

Because the OnePlus 7T Pro is too similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro, the new "Pro" model won't be sold in the states. For example, it features the same notchless 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 3120 resolution. One change will be found under the hood where the Snapdragon 855+ will reside. The vertically mounted camera sensor on the back will include a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 16MP Ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. The basic model could come with 8GB of memory and 256GB of native storage. A 4085mAh battery keeps the lights on.

Both phones use the new Warp Charge 30T charging system that replenishes the battery 23% faster than the previously used system; according to OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau, that speed improvement holds up even if the phone is being used while charging. While this technology could have been offered for the OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this year, Lau said, "We’re not going to introduce something for the sake of being first. We took time to refine and iterate, continuously testing until we were able to achieve something we were proud to provide to our fans."

Both models will come out of the box with the version of OxygenOS based on Android 10. In fact, these phones will be the first shipped with the latest build of Android pre-installed. The colors seen on these leaked press images include Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver.

The OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will be unveiled Thursday, September 26th during the event being by OnePlus starting at 10:35 am ET | 7:35 am PT | 4:35 pm CEST | 2:35 pm GMT. YouTube will be live streaming the festivities right here.
