OnePlus welcomes Apple and its 5.5-inch iPhone 6 to the "Plus family"
Just like it did earlier this month when the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced, OnePlus couldn’t remain silent after Apple unveiled its new iPhone 6 models. Thus, the company is “welcoming” Apple to “the Plus family” by giving away a 64 GB OnePlus One smartphone, as well as 550 invites.
Needless to say, OnePlus is somewhat proud of the fact that, although it sports a similar display (5.5 inches with 1080 x 1920 pixels and 401 ppi), its One is a tad smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus.
As you may know, the iPhone 6 Plus is the largest iPhone ever, though it’s a bit late to the game. Other companies have been releasing handsets with screens larger than 5 inches for quite some time now. Apple actually had something against large screens until a few years back.
