OnePlus welcomes Apple and its 5.5-inch iPhone 6 to the "Plus family"

OnePlus welcomes Apple and its 5.5-inch iPhone 6 to the
Just like it did earlier this month when the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced, OnePlus couldn’t remain silent after Apple unveiled its new iPhone 6 models. Thus, the company is “welcoming” Apple to “the Plus family” by giving away a 64 GB OnePlus One smartphone, as well as 550 invites.

Needless to say, OnePlus is somewhat proud of the fact that, although it sports a similar display (5.5 inches with 1080 x 1920 pixels and 401 ppi), its One is a tad smaller than the iPhone 6 Plus.

As you may know, the iPhone 6 Plus is the largest iPhone ever, though it’s a bit late to the game. Other companies have been releasing handsets with screens larger than 5 inches for quite some time now. Apple actually had something against large screens until a few years back.

Back to OnePlus, you’ll find all the details you need for trying to win a 64 GB One at the source link included at the end of this article (you need to have a Facebook account to participate).

Since we’re here, take a look at our in-depth specs comparison between the OnePlus One and the iPhone 6 Plus:

You know what's pathetic? You can save $50 getting the 64g OnePlus One, unlocked, compared to the 64g iPhone 6 Plus, on CONTRACT. If only you knew how to sell your damn phones, Oneplus.

I dont understand. Fans are fans. A fan is the main reason a purchase is made. Are you not a fan? Do you buy phones because your mommy or grand daddy forces you to just to have one? Do you not enjoy your phone? Do you not like having it? Using it? Taking pics with it? Do you not like its interface? Do you not enjoy its ecosystem? Its apps? Its functionality? Its design and aesthetics? You and every other loser on this website constantly bash people for being "iFans". I don't understand how inbred and mental one has to be to sound like such a moronic bimbo. Get a life lol. People will be fans. You're a fan. Im a fan. We're all fans. Now take a hike, hater.

How does it failed to have 1 GB RAM with 64bit. Just like your saying that the iPhone 5S is failed because has 1GB RAM and 64bit. Don't you dare to compared the 1GB RAM for those with 3GB RAM that iPhone 5S killed in many performance. I don't need to give any example what is it because I know you knows and you watch in Youtube as well.

it's 2014 for FFS! and still they have that midrange specs?? for that price wtf. and not too much features + iP6 awful design, good, buy your itoy and waste your money! i would have buy it if the design was like iphone 4s, in 5.5 inch screen. iP6 design is a fail

Of course, I'm gonna buy this new iPhone 6. Have you seen the design for the Note 3 to not Note 4. No different desig. No different also the QHD in Full HD. Yes, you can say midrange specs compared to high-end but we all knows that many high-end android that iPhone midrange beats them in many performance. I don't need to give an example because I know your watch many times in Youtube. Yes, compared the 1GB RAM with doul-core proccessor to 3GB RAM with quad-core or octa-core proccessor and still some beats the iPhones. Yes, iToys and iShame 'coz were all the same fan of them, WTF!

And yes, iPhones still many to catch up and they still starting to get bigger size, bigger RAM, bigger camera pixel but still selling millions of iPhones every year when new iPhone come out. Samsung, no idea how to make there screen now because they have 6.3, 6, 5.7,5.5, 5.2, 5.1, 5. Because they can't think which scrren size they make. They decide to put make features that are useless and gimmick that people don't even bothered to use. Apple iPhone still have many choices of screen size that they make in the coming year. And still they gonna sell millions again.

Apple will never fail. Why? Because it is a gadget and not human. You are gonna fail because you will die, maybe 5-10 years from now. And still Apple will continues to build, mobile phone, tablet, laptop, TV and many more in 10 year. I'm just telling the truth.

You know what's pathetic. I dont see any comments saying 'Dat Bezels' while I see plenty on other smartphones with smaller bezels

10. Doakie

Posts: 2478; Member since: May 06, 2009

I'll jump in. Oh crap! You see how large those bezels are? You could rest your elbows on those when using the phone!!

resting elbows? wow thats an innovation

65. pulkit1

i am an iPhone 5s user and i have to agree with you bezels are too big it shows stubbornness of apple designers , they can't compromise the symmetry of the phone for smaller bezels . They had two options : 1) make the upper bezel smaller . 2) shift the touch id to back .

32. Finalflash

Posts: 4063; Member since: Jul 23, 2013

Well yea, but that's because there are like 100 other large glaring issues with the iPhone, bezels are the least of the problems. With Android you have top of the line everything anyway and so, bezels are all that are left to correct (and most have done that now).
