One lucky mobile-only esports team will get Razer Phones for free

Esports is a multi-billion dollar industry, so it's no wonder that many tech giants want to see their names shown off at major events that are watched by millions of fans around the globe. Razer is no newcomer to the esports industry, but it's definitely a new player in the smartphone market.

Today, Razer announced it has inked a deal with mobile-only esports team Queso. All players of the Spanish group will receive Razer gaming smartphones that they will have to use in all tournaments and competitions. Moreover, the team will be given other Razer peripherals and gaming accessories for free, including keyboards, mice, headsets and mouse pads.

Although it was created just one year ago as the first mobile-focused esports team, Queso's players are among the best in the world. The team dominates tournaments and championships for games like Clash Royale, Vainglory, Arena of Valor and Hearthstone.

No financial details have been disclosed related to the two-year strategic agreement between Razer and Team Queso, but the Razer Phone, world's first smartphone designed for gaming, will surely give them an edge over the competition.
