October 4th is the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Gear watch at AT&T
Earlier this month, AT&T's website listed October 1st as the shipping date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. On Monday, the nation's second largest carrier announced that the latest iteration of Samsung's phablet line will actually launch on Friday, October 4th online and at AT&T's brick and mortar stores. Along with the phone, the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch will also launch on Friday.

If you're signing a new two-year pact, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will run you $299.99. Or you can elect to join AT&T Next, which allows you to upgrade your phone once a year. With that plan, the Galaxy Note 3 will cost you $35 a month for 20 months. After 12 months, you can decide to upgrade to a new phone by exchanging your current device.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch uses Bluetooth to pair with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Since no data plan is required for the timepiece, the watch is $299.99 with no contract necessary. Both the phablet and the watch will be available in black or white only.

Excellent looking device and probably a great productivity device. I'll stick with my LG G2 but excellent choice for anybody who wants a phablet. As far as the watch, Samsung is outta their minds!

This phone looks awesome but kinda wish the camera was a bit better. HD screen on this beast is crazy along with the Snapdragon 800.. Very tempted to trade in my Note 2

Samsung are idiots when it comes to pricing... Note I understand the 299 I can't understand how the price of 299 came. Where they sniffing or Justin shooting darts maybe they were playing pinata... 199 would've been prefect and another problem not working with any other andriod... You wanna rule the smart watch make it for all Android phones... Don't the watch will follow BB and you will see icarp watch how they sell maybe you will learn again
