Taking into account that the desirable HTC Desire S just recently went on sale towards the end of last month, O2 UK’s recent price drop for the impressive device is interesting in itself to say the least.
Although a variety of wireless carriers now lay claim to the high-end Android powered smartphone, O2 UK is going one step further by aggressively pricing the device’s no term commitment option. Currently available, O2 UK customers can snag the HTC Desire S on a pay-as-you-go plan for a mere £329.99 ($539); VAT included. Again, that’s pretty nice just because of the relatively still new freshness of the handset’s arrival on the market.
Granted that you can probably purchase one for fee with select 2-year commitments, it’s nice nonetheless to see a competitive no-contract pricing on the smartphone.
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
