Note 10 ends the iPhone XS design exclusivity in the premium segment

Before Samsung's introductory promo video above, we thought that the Galaxy Note 10 and 10+ sport Gorilla Glass 6 on aluminum action, but right around the 15 seconds mark, Samsung casually mentions they are built on a stainless steel frame.

You might have missed it in the press release and subsequent hands-ons simply because Samsung doesn't make a big fuss about it, just nonchalantly confirms the uberpremium status of the Note 10's design.

The other cool phone we can think of that carries a stainless-steel-on-glass design is the Nokia 8 Sirocco but Nokia still has some eating to do until it occupies the top of the smartphones' food chain.

If you recall, Apple was adamant to explain that the XS and XS Max are built around the tougher and more durable stainless steel instead of the usual aluminum alloy frame, and Samsung is now getting in on the steel action, too.
