Nokia Poland video shows off double height Live Tiles
With speculation that an upcoming GDR update to Windows Phone 8.1 will include double height Live Tiles, a video made by Nokia Poland seems to confirm this. The video was produced to promote the Nokia Lumia 630, one of three current Lumia models that comes with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box (the other two are the Nokia Lumia 635 and the Nokia Lumia 930) The character that "stars" in the promo is shown stretching out the size of a Live Tile as he customizes the start screen.
The promo also includes some of the new features that are a part of the Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Cyan update, such as the Swype-like WordFlow typing capability, Wi-Fi hot spots and the Action Center for notifications.
The three minute animated video is entertaining, and even if you don't favor Windows Phone, you might enjoy seeing how smartphones get marketed in other countries. Simply click on the video below.
