New Samsung commercials present the Galaxy S8 as a perfect travel guide, excellent VR gaming device
It's been two weeks since Samsung released the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, so the novelty surrounding the two phones has worn off a bit. But Samsung's marketing machine marches on, and, with two brand new commercials released on YouTube, it's making sure that potential customers know what the S8 series has to offer.

The first new commercial presents the Samsung Galaxy S8 as a perfect travel guide - after all, the smartphone can provide information on pretty much anything you need when travelling (as long as you're connected to the internet, that is), and it also has a great photo camera. Of course, the same can be said about various other high-end smartphones out there, but Samsung obviously has the right to tell us that its own handset is the best at this.

The second new Samsung commercial is all about virtual reality gaming. Paired with a Gear VR headset with Controller (usually sold separately for $130), a Samsung Galaxy S8 can certainly provide an immersive gaming experience.

Both new commercials can be watched below - let us know if you like them, will you?

The S8 is the new bad ass on the block. I'm hooked on this phone for 3 reasons, and not one is a feature. 1. Battery life is thru the roof. 2. 835 is very well optimized with Nougat&TW 3. The fluidity and snappiness is insane.

Agree. I'm a heavy user and I get about 6 hr SOT with games, streaming videos, browsing and texting.

ohh btw, face recognition works very well and super quick. I was unable to fool it with picture or video. So I guess they fixed that loophole

Exactly. I have yet to kill mine by bed time, just won't die. My 7 Plus, Note 7, and S7 Edge, were able to be killed by bed time.

Hey there. I use my s8+ at work for music listening for around 7 hours and scandal web browsing and my screen on time is around 100 min. After an 11 hour shift my battery is at 50%. Signal is an issue in somber places at my job as it will go from 4g to 3g to even 1x. Is this normal?

Yes, depending on Tower location, and building structure, you can lose signal. That happens to me at my jobs HQ. Once I leave out, it's 5 bars of LTE.

And yes the phone is fantastic too. My standby time on it is ridiculously good. I only charged it twice since April 24th. That's ridiculous.

There are only two brands now: Samsung and the others!!!! Period. BTW I'm not happy with that:( Real competition is needed. Not only on the price like China do.
