New Balance confirms RunIQ will receive Android Wear 2.0 update by April 14
On top of that, Google delayed the release of Android Wear 2.0 for most of the compatible smartwatches that were promised the update, so New Balance was forced to postpone the upgrade as well.
First of all, New Balance promises improved GPS acquisition when paired with an iOS device. Also, the overall battery life should be enhanced, along with Bluetooth connectivity when coupled with an iOS device.
The mile, kilometer, as well as lap notifications, have been made slightly bigger, and now include the previous split time. The update will also bring Google Play Music and untethered running for iOS users. Lastly, new customization watch faces with Complications will be available to RunIQ users.
