Motorola Moto E3 press pictures surface almost two weeks after U.K. unveiling
About one and a half weeks ago, the entry-level Motorola Moto E3 was introduced in the U.K. A few days after that, the phone was certified in the U.S. by the FCC. Today, some press images of the phone surfaced, more than a month before the expected early September launch of the device in the U.K. Outside of that region., we have yet to hear when the handset will be available. The price of the Moto E3 in the U.K is equivalent to $132 USD.

The Motorola Moto E3 features a 5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution. A quad-core CPU is found under the hood with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal memory inside. Those seeking additional storage can access the 32GB capacity microSD slot. A rear-facing 8MP camera is aboard, along with a 5MP selfie snapper in front. A 2800mAh battery will provide power all day without requiring a charge, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

At the time that the phone was introduced in the U.K., we only had one new promo picture of the phone to show you. Now, we have a few more images of the Motorola Moto E3 for your perusal. Simply click on the slideshow below.

I dont understand why cant they make a compact size with 5" screen?.. 144mm X 70mm is bigger than galaxy S4 size (136mm X 68mm). For bigger phones, anyway we have vatious 5.5" phones..

Even better would be a 4inch. I still have my HTC Wildfire, at 4inch screen. Great for weekends. Doesn't bulge on trousers or in the front shirt.

4 inch is far too small, especially if it has on screen navigation keys. 4.5 - 4.7 is the sweet spot for compact, depending on how big the bezels are.

These days not sure why all manufactures release 5" phones with more than 142mm X 70mm size. Thats not exactly a compact phone. Wish upcoming phone will be 136mm X 68mm form factor..

I don't understand either to be honest. Phone makers should focus on making the bezels as small as possible.

that 5" phone is just marginally bigger than 4.7" iphone (138.3mm x 67.1mm)

Everything is fine with Moto E3, except 1GB RAM . Anything above $100 should have 2GB RAM.
