Both the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Motorola DROID 2 might've shared the same launch date, but as we just reported, the Torch 9800 has already received a price cut thanks to Amazon. However, the Motorola DROID 2 isn't going to just sit around and hover at its customary on-contract price of $199.99 – that's because its price is also getting cut in half. LetsTalk is making it extremely irresistible by dropping the Motorola DROID 2's 2-year contract price down to $99.99. However, the fun can only be experienced by new customers signing a new contract with the carrier – existing customers aren't treated to the special promotional price. Nonetheless, it only makes the process of purchasing this Froyo filled handset more satisfying – especially for your pockets. With your purchase, LetsTalk is throwing in free shipping which will save you compared to driving down to your local Verizon store and purchasing the DROID 2 for $199.99.
