Microsoft Pix update brings the holiday spirit with seasonal frames, selfie timer, more
Microsoft's Pix application has just been updated with a couple of new features meant to improved user experience. Along with the latest update, the team of developers wishes all Pix users Happy Holidays.
That being said, let's take a look at some of the important change included in the update. First of all, the update adds lots of holiday and seasonal frames that will allow users to dress up their photos and Live Images.
Then, there's a new timer for selfies and group shots, so you will now be able to take these type of shots much easier now. The update introduces an optional grid overlay that's suppose to help user compose their pictures. The newly added grid can be turned on or off from the Settings / Pix / Grid menu.
There's one additional new feature added in this update, a new gesture. Microsoft Pix users can now swipe to switch between camera and video recording modes in viewfinder.
Microsoft Pix works on both iPad and iPhone devices, but requires iOS 9.0 or later. It's completely free, so if you haven't tried it out yet, now would be a good time.
