Microsoft Launcher will soon allow users to earn rewards for using the app
Microsoft is readying yet another important update for Launcher, its Android app that allows users to customize their phones. Many of the planned changes are already available in the beta version of the launcher, but it remains to be seen how many will make it to the stable app.

In any case, let's see what Microsoft has in store for Launcher users. Firstly, a new Microsoft Rewards daily deal card will be available in the Launcher, which will allow users to earn Rewards for using the app and completing other tasks.

Then, the long-press shortcuts will be enabled on icons even when the homescreen is locked. The update will also enable users to send a CPU profile via “Contact Us” in Settings in case they experience performance issues with Microsoft Launcher.

But that's not all, as the Launcher will now have the same font size as the system font size. Last but not least, the update introduces screen folders smaller than the phone's screen so that users can use them with one hand on large-screen devices.

Microsoft Launcher beta 5.2 contains all the changes mentioned, so if you're enrolled in the beta program you can already check them out. However, there's no guarantee that all will make it in the next update for the stable version.
