Let the texting begin with the Samsung Comeback and Gravity 2

Let the texting begin with the Samsung Comeback and Gravity 2
Intensive messaging can be a real pain when it is done with a phone that only has a standard numeric keypad. For those in need of a real messaging device, Samsung has just announced two new (and much-rumored) handsets for T-Mobile - the Samsung Comeback and the Gravity 2, both sporting a full QWERTY keyboard.

The Comeback, a side-opening clamshell, is now available in two color variants: “Frost Silver Cherry” and “Pearl White Plum” at a two-year contract price of $129.99 after $50 mail-in rebate. Feature-wise, it isn’t something to make you wow: a 2-megapixel camera and 3G connectivity to make sure your messages are delivered on time.

Those who would rather prefer the side-sliding form-factor of the Samsung Gravity 2, however, will have to wait until August to get either the “berry mauve” or the “metallic pumpkin” color version. Just like the Comeback, the Gravity 2 features a 2-megapixel camera, MP3 player and up to 16 GB of expandable storage space.
