Lenovo PHAB Plus available for pre-orders in Malaysia
The 6.8-inch Lenovo PHAB Plus is now available for pre-orders in Malaysia. Priced at the equivalent of $278 USD, the phablet is a handful. To reward those willing to reserve a unit, Lenovo is offering some goodies valued at $140 USD to those who decide to pre-order the PHAB Plus. The first 100 who pre-order the device between now and September 27th will receive a voucher for $23 USD off of Superdry Apparel, a voucher for 100 Free Hottest Tracks downloads valued at $88 USD, and a free year of e-Magazine subscriptions worth $28 USD.

To pre-order the Lenovo PHAB Plus, you need to deposit the equivalent of $23 USD with Lenovo. The balance needs to be paid off between September 28th through October 25th.

The Lenovo PHAB Plus is equipped with that 6.8-inch LCD screen. Resolution is 1080 x 1920, or FHD for those who like initials-speak. That works out to a pixel density of 324ppi. The Snapdragon 615 SoC is under the hood, with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of internal, expandable storage. A 13MP camera adorns the back of the phone, while a 5MP snapper graces the front. A 3500mAh juicer is in charge of keeping the screen lit, and Android 5.0 is pre-installed. At 7.6mm, the Phab Plus is pretty thin. But thanks to the size of the phone, it does weigh a comparatively heavy 229 grams.

Your nexus 7 (I also own First Gen Nexus 7) have big bezel and very thick body. This 6.8" PHAB plus is way smaller.

Wish this phone had GPS+Glonass, I'd be a buyer. To the correspondent (Alan F.), for future reference US$278 is better nomenclature than $278 USD.

Don't even bother. These PA writers don't know how to write. Even those who are native English speakers are worse than my 5th graders. Seriously, what in the world is $278 USD? It's either $278, US$278, or 278 USD. What a shame...
