Leak reveals nearly the full specs for the octa-core powered Huawei Glory 4
Almost a couple of weeks ago, we passed along some information about the Huawei Glory 4.You might recall that this handset is expected to be powered by the MT6592 which is MediaTek's true octa-core processor. When we say true octa-core, we are saying that all 8 cores can be active at the same time. This is unlike the big.LITTLE architecture of Samsung's octa-core Exynos chip which can run only one set of four cores at one time. One set does the heavy lifting while the other set takes care of the light housekeeping.

A leak out of China now reveals nearly the full specs for the phone. While the size of the screen remains a mystery, the resolution of the panel will be 720 x 1280. TheMT6592 octa-core processor will be clocked at 1.7GHz and there will be 2GB of RAM inside. 16GB of native storage is on board and the back and front cameras weigh in at 13MP and 5MP respectively. Huawei's Emotion 2.0 will run on top of Android 4.2.

According to Huawei's CEO Richard Yu, the manufacturer's game plan is to use this model to challenge the low priced but decently spec'd Xiamoi Red Rice which probably means that the Huawei Glory 4 launches in China and doesn't stray too far from the region.
