Is the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sporting a 6-inch screen?
According to most leaked specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the phablet will feature a 5.7-inch display with a dual-curve screen and a 1440 x 2560 resolution. But a listing on India's import-export site Zauba reveals that the eagerly awaited device could feature a 6-inch screen. The model number of the device in question, SM-N930R4, corresponds with the Galaxy Note 7, and the device was shipped into India on July 1st for testing from South Korea.

Part of the listing shows that the screen size of the device is 6-inches. This could be an early prototype of the phone, or perhaps it is just a simple mistake and the Galaxy Note 7 will end up with a 5.7-inch display. But based on the pair of handsets sent to India, we could soon discover that the Note 7 is carrying a larger screen than expected.

In case you missed it, on Friday renders of the Galaxy Note 7 were leaked revealing three different color options for buyers to choose from, and the aforementioned dual-curve screen. Based on this Zauba listing, the latter could end up being 6-inches instead of 5.7-inches. We will know for sure on August 2nd when the phablet is expected to be unveiled.

Thanks for the tip!

With note 5 footprint..... that will definitely need a curve screen to achieve that. The note 5 side bezels are already so slim, and expanding the screen vertically will make the screen ratio crazy long and weird. So it will either have to be bigger than the note 5, or a curve screen to allow a smaller form factor just like the s7 edge.

That’s not true. if Samsung just removed the Samsung logo in the front they will achieve that 6 inch

If it gonna be a edge I think it has to be at least 5.8 .. I used both note 3 & note 5 & I absolutely love them. But I'm not a biggest fan of edge display especially with that color shift, glare & lower screen real estate .. hope it's gonna be good..

True. If bigger than note 5 footprint, not for me. I hope it stays there.

lol you guys have problems reading all too often. They list a range, 5.5-6 ,that doen't mean that the screen is 6 inch, or 5.5. Nor does it mean that it's stretchable ....

When you zoom, you see S.S.-6 and not 5.5.-6.

I think it may me 6" as if you go edges and the screen was only 5.8 or 5.7 it will be the same screen size as the iPhone plus, I.e. Way smaller screen s pen over the note 5, so I do think the full size is 6" It will mean it will be like note 5 in your hand due to the edges, very cool

6"...? Big displays are good for media consumption, but for everyday usage 6" is a tad on the FREAKISH side... Tell you what, instead of FINGERPRINT SCANNER, Samsung should introduce a FOOTPRINT SCANNER... That ought to be easier, eh? Only Apple has the capacity to understand the problems associated with bigger displays... The iPhone 6 fits in your hands like a glove, and I love its overall feel... And since its slightly longer, fitting one inside the front pocket is a breeze... Great "ergonomics"...! Too bad, most of you are too shy to accept it... And no, I'm almost 6'3 with BIG hands... Oh well, G'Day!

No, pumpkin... I've a Nexus 5, little one... And it was a 4.9 Incher the last time I checked... I DON'T LIKE PHABLETS... AND I SURE AS HELL HATE... Hate... Er... "MEGALETS" or perhaps... "FREAKLETS"... G'Day mate!

They don't have a full capacity in understanding proper proportional size diameters as their 4.7 inch offering is nearly as big as certain Android flagship devices around 5 inches and their 5.5 inch iPhone offering is nearly the footprint of a 6 inch Android model. You're giving that company senseless praise for poor design engineering. Honestly, if you like your Apple device so and you feel it suits you the best, then enjoy it and stop trolling every Samsung article. Because it sounds like you're trying to over compensate for it, and validate that you're into the right platform.
