Google Nexus 4 back on sale at Canadian Google Play Store
The Google Nexus 4 was back on sale this afternoon at the Google Play Store. Only thing is, it was the Canadian version of the Google Play Store that had the sizzling hot handset back in stock. Google had sent out emails to those interested in the device to alert them that it would be offered for sale starting at 12 Noon PST on Monday, which was 3PM on the East coast. The price for the 8GB version of the phone is $309 Canadian Dollars ($311 USD), while the 16GB model is $359 Canadian Dollars ($362 USD).

The 8GB Google Nexus 4 was officially declared sold out in the U.S. Google Play Store this weekend after backorders reached a 9 to 10 week level. The 16GB Google Nexus 4 is still available with orders shipping out in 5 to 6 weeks. That is an improvement from the 6 to 7 weeks that orders placed this weekend were scheduled to go out. The 8GB model in the U.S. is priced at $299 when in stock, while the 16GB version is $349.

In the U.S., T-Mobile has been offering the 16GB phone for $199 with a signed two-year contract, or unlocked for $499 even though it is the same exact phone Google is selling for $150 less. The carrier is currently sold out of the device.
