Twitch is trying to lure as many mobile fans as possible to its game streaming service. The first step in achieving that is the release of a revamped Twitch app for Android and iOS platforms.

The new app comes with a dark mode, as well as loads of new features and improvements such as Instant Playlist (a collection of content accessible by swiping down on the screen) and Language Ranking (featured streams organized based on certain languages and regions).

There's also a new Mobile Streaming option that allows users to start a stream directly to their channel via the Twitch mobile application. New navigation bars have been added too, which are supposed to make it easier to access various features like “live,” “pulse,” and “browse.”

Pulse is Twitch's new content recommendation and discovery feed, so make sure to take full advantage of it if you want to find streams that better fit your tastes. The new notifications system is supposedly matching the desktop experience, so there's another plus.

Lastly, a new swiping gesture allows Twitch users to quickly select new streams or access playlists. The new Twitch mobile app has already been released in the App Store and Google Play Store, so you can go ahead and give it a try.
