High-res Galaxy S9 and S9+ pictures explore every nook and cranny of the black and blue models

High-res Galaxy S9 and S9+ pictures explore every nook and cranny of the black and blue models
In case the leaked official press renders of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ the other day weren't enough for your viewing pleasure, the full high-res images of Samsung's upcoming spring flagships have now also leaked out.

They reveal in very granular detail the rough metal frame coating, the intricacies of the dual-aperture lens on both phones, and the secondary camera exclusive to the S9+, as well as the busy top bezel where Samsung's new "3D Emoji" option will be nourished from. Be patient, though, as these are larger files, and may take a while to load, depending on your connection.

Frankly, the handsets look much more appealing in these high resolution renders than anything we've seen so far, and, considering that we will have new processor and camera sensors under the hood, we only hope that the rumored top-shelf price tag will be falling down quickly.

Looks beautiful. Improved upon the already great design of the S8. The S8 already beats phones like the Iphone X in screen-to-body ratio and now this improves it even further, while even adding more features, such as the stereo speakers and variable aperture, unlike other brands which has to remove features to improve screen-to-body ratio.

Agreed. A nice refinement to the S8.

Who are the sheep now?? This design is the same design of S8. This design is so old and boring. Those who cannot accept that fact are obvious Samsung fanboys.....LOL iPhone X killed all the phones in 2018.

So you begin your comment with 'Who are the sheep now??' (also, why 2 question marks), but end it with 'LOL iPhone X killed all the phones in 2018'. We're not even done with Q1 in 2018. That's the epitome of sheep commenting.

So it wasnt boring when Apple used the carbon copy iPhone 6 design for 4 years+ straight lol. Pathetic Indian trashing in the comments

"This design is so old and boring" I'm sure the s8 is only 9 months old. You aint talking about the iphone 8 are you?

I disagree. I prefer the design of the S9, it looks like a more refined S8. If you compare the renders of the S8 to the renders of the S9, then it looks like every single bezel is smaller on the S9, even a tiny bit on the sides. Furthermore, i think the S8 looked great, but the back wasn't really as pretty as the one on the S9, as having the fingerprint scanner next to the camera looks awkward.

It should be smaller on the top and bottom but since the S9 is 68.7mm wide compared to the S8's 68.1mm for the same screen size, it should be the same on the sides, and even ever so slightly larger.

No, actually not, if the leaks are to be true. The curvature on the side are supposed be more gradual on the S9 compared to the S8 according to leaks, and if we are to go by the renders, then it also looks like that is the case. When you have a more gradual curvature on the side, then the actual width of the phone is obviously going to increase a little, and that's exactly what we're seeing in the leaked dimensions. All of the leaks seem to corroborate each other. The bezels are a tiny bit smaller, but the curvature is noticeably more gradual, which results in a slightly wider phone overall.

How often do you stare at the back of your phone? I mean seriously the s**t people complain about these days blows my mind.

I'd like to see these next to high res photos of the S8. The S9 looks slightly more refined.

Right, cause they'll never make cases for this phone.

have to say looks kind a boring, iPhone X ruined all the other phones for me, it feels so fresh, this feels dated. Samsung is in trouble, i don't think this is enough for the market.

The iPhone X is a smaller LG V30 with a notch. If anything it finally caught up to what was already fresh & got out of being dated.

And in a few months you'll feel exactly the same way about your iPhone X or the iphone X. And whats funny is it has more features and refinements to convince consumers. Watch the next iPhone X lookalike product by apple features full body animoji as a main feature and prettt soon, your face unlock will be an animoji. Hahaha. Lets get real, the S8 design is a year old, can use some refinement. If we jump the gun for a bezeless device, then what are we really getting for 2019? the same design as the would be bezeless device of 2018 and everyone will complain. A similar design for 1 year or maybe, just maybe 2 years are fine, but when you have the same design for years like appl3 thats been doing it since the iphone 6...smh

These leaks make the Samsung Unpacked Event kind of irrelevant. Almost everything about this phone has been leaked and exposed.

Right, cause the phone won't have any new features...

stupid, jow is it irrelevant when theres a chance they may unviel something completely different from leaks. lmao. Its not official, dont speak too soon

No photos of the edges, especially bottom. :(

Too bad there’s no full coverage phone cases for these phones anymore because of the stupid curved design. Even if you buy an Otterbox Defender you still have to buy a tempered glass screen protector which doesn’t even fully stick to the screen

Whitestone dome glass is case friendly and is glued to the screen with loca glue. No air gap, no sensitivity issues, but it's expensive

Rocking a Tech21 silicone case with no screen protector on my Note 8. It's had a few drops and still looks like it's fresh out the box.
