The Leagoo S10 has an in-display fingerprint scanner, tons of features, $300 price tag8
While tech giants are still taking their sweet time to implement the in-display fingerprint scanner technology in their flagship phones, Leagoo has managed to launch a device that not only has this futuristic tech but also costs a fraction of what your regular top-tier handset does.
The Leagoo S10 has a price tag of $299.99 and is packed to the brim with features. From a slim bezel to the aforementioned fingerprint scanner, face recognition tech, and much more. Let's take a closer look at this thing!
Design and display
We've got thin bezels on the front, with a minimal chin and a notch over the top of the display, to house the front-facing camera and sensors. As per official specs, the phone's screen-to-body ratio is 90.3%, which is on par with the contemporary big-name flagships.
The screen is a 6.21-inch, 19:9 AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels. This makes for a PPI density of about 400, which is quite sharp — you won't be making out individual pixels with a naked eye.
Hardware and camera
The Leagoo S10 is powered by MediaTek's top-tier SoC — the Helio P60. Built on a 12 nm process, it has an octa-core processor, capable of clock speeds of up to 2 GHz and has been designed with AI applications in mind. But more on that later.
The phone features a generous 6 GB of RAM for your multitasking needs and a hefty 64 GB of storage space. Its battery is nothing to sneeze at either, with a capacity of 4,050 mAh.
Powered by AI
AI is the industry's buzzword — everyone is quick to note how their new flagship has "AI capabilities". Usually, this boils down to an Auto mode on the Camera app.
In the case of Leagoo S10, we are told that the phone would be constantly learning and working to optimize user experience. The AI is used for better Auto shots, improved Portrait Mode shots, and a more natural Beautify feature for the front-facing camera. But it also works in the background when you are using the phone for other tasks, constantly striving to achieve balance between smooth performance and long-lasting battery.
