Huawei
continues to tease information about its flagship and the next thing the Chinese company has decided to talk about is the OS that comes pre-installed on the
Mate 10. Just like its predecessor, the Mate 10 will be Huawei's first smartphone to ship with Android 8.0 Oreo on board.
Its bigger brother, the
Mate 10 Pro is likely to run the same version of Android, but we're not so sure about the Mate 10 Lite. The smartphone was already introduced in Asia
under different names, but Oreo is not something that's listed among the technical specifications.
If you had any doubts that
Huawei Mate 10 will come with Android 8.0 Oreo at launch, then you can rest easy since the company has just confirmed the information via a new teaser that says:
Equipped with Android 8.0 to give you a better experience. The powerful combination will be revealed on October 16 #HuaweiMate10 #Munich.
Although the Mate 10 will be introduced next week, it's unlikely that it will hit the shelves until early November. Still, pre-orders should open soon after the official announcement goes live.
