The 8-season series that ended back in 2012, Desperate Housewives is getting a mobile game. Back in 2006, developer Liquid Entertainment and publisher Buena Vista Games launched a Desperate Wives game on PC, but the Windows title received only mixed reviews in the gaming media.

However, the mobile game, while it does feature the same name, mixes puzzle and RPG elements. If you're ready to join the desperate housewives, you'll be stepping into the role of a new resident of Wisteria Lane and try to build friendships and unravel mysteries with some of the iconic characters from the show.

Speaking of which, the mobile game is a prequel to the hit TV show, so there won't be any spoilers if you still want to watch the show afterward. Desperate Housewives: The Game is free to play, but you'll also be able to pay real money to save time or to buy extra items.

For the time being, the game is available in the App Store only, and publisher MegaZebraTV has yet to announce anything about an Android version of Desperate Housewives: The Game.
