While LG's smartphone fortunes might not be so great as of late, the company is certainly killing it when it comes to making TVs. If you're looking to get a high-quality LG telly for a great price, you might find Best Buy's latest offer to be irresistible.

The consumer electronics retailer is selling an LG 50-inch 4K LED Smart TV for $300. That's a discount of $200 compared to the usual MSRP and easily the cheapest LG 50-incher we've seen to date. The model has an overall rating of 4.5/5 stars from more than 690 reviews, with 91% of customers willing to recommend it to a friend.

The 4K panel on this TV is encompassed by 4 super slim bezels. Notable features include HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), two 10W speakers and the webOS smart platform that gives access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, and other services. Furthermore, the TV is also compatible with Amazon's Alexa smart speaker.

It's crazy how cheap those 4K TVS. have become in a few years. I'd definitely consider this one if I was buying a new TV.

Spend little more and you actually get a good TV, you propably spend lot of time with it and maybe years so i don't understand why buy cheapest possible choice which obviously is very low quality. Alarm clock should ring if someone selling 4K TV with $300

That's a great price! In third world countries those TVs cost over a thousand dollars, no BS.

I can attest to that I still use a 1080p TV

Dang. 65 inch for 100 more and I would bite. Current LG is 55 inch and only 1080P.

Did you like it? lot of people said it's very crappy quality TV and especially the picture quality is bad and viewing angle is horrible, you have to be dead center or the picture is washed out, but sure you wouldn't except anything good with that price.

Actually I'm impressed. Colors are vivid and sound is good. I feel the remote is alittle crowded and webos takes time to get used to compared to the other Roku TV's we have but overall not a bad deal. I did test the viewing angle and they are kinda right but that can be adjusted easily with a mount. I used to work in RadioShack many years ago and we got 2 brand new Hisense roku TV's. This one has great picture compared to the others
