Unveiled early this year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Misfit Vapor was supposed to hit the shelves sometime this summer. Unfortunately, Misfit couldn't hit those deadlines, and left the launch for October, at $199 a pop. Merely two months after its introduction, the capable smartwatch is already seeing a big price cut down to $140 over at Amazon.
The Vapor timepiece features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor. It packs the generous for a wearable 4 GB storage, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity support. Coming with Android Wear 2.0 on board, it works with Google Assistant, too.
True to its name, the Vapor is water resistant up to 50 meters, but there is no calling feature, GPS, or other shenanigans to jack up the pricing. Still, Vapor users will be able to view their distance, steps, and calories burned on their wrist when they go for a run, and that's more than you can ask for from a $199 $140 piece.
