Deal: Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ score massive discounts at Best Buy

Samsung's last year flagships, the Galaxy S9 series is now cheaper than ever and it's not just because the South Korean company is about to reveal a new top-tied smartphone. It's common for Samsung high-end smartphones to become very cheap one year after launch, something that we can't say about Apple's iPhones.

In any case, without comparing the two brands, if you're in the market for a not so expensive flagship, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are still solid choices. Best Buy is running a sale on a couple of Samsung smartphones, including the last year flagships.

Typically selling for $600 and $700, respectively, the Galaxy S9 is now available at Best Buy for just $450, while the Galaxy S9+ costs $550. Both phones come unlocked and you're not required to activate them immediately.

However, if you don't mind activating your phone with one of the three carriers listed on Best Buy, you could get the Galaxy S9 for as low as $350, whereas the Galaxy S9+ drops to only $450. Both offers come from Sprint, but AT&T and Verizon have good deals as well.
