Deal: Motorola Moto G7 Power is free at T-Mobile (new line required)
Several months after launching the Motorola Moto G7 Power (pricing it at $240), T-Mobile now allows customers to get this smartphone for free. Unsurprisingly, some terms and conditions apply here.

The first things you should know about this T-Mobile deal is that you must buy your Moto G7 Power on a monthly payment plan, and you have to add a new line of service. The line must be active for 24 months - during this time, you'll receive bill credits of $10 per month amounting to $240 (in other words, the phone's price becomes $0 only after 24 months have passed). Both existing and new customers can take advantage of this deal. The offer is a limited time one, but there is no word on when it's supposed to expire.

While it's far from being a high-end smartphone, the Motorola Moto G7 Power offers decent features, and it even has an important advantage over pricier handsets - a 5000 mAh battery that lasts 2 to 3 days on a single charge. The handset runs Android 9 Pie and it should be updated to the newly-released Android 10 at some point (it's unclear exactly when that's going to happen). As you may know, T-Mobile isn't the only US carrier that's offering the Motorola Moto G7 Power for free. Metro by T-Mobile does it, too, under largely similar conditions (including the need to add a new line). If you want to purchase the G7 Power unlocked, with no strings attached, Motorola is currently selling the phone for $219.
