Carphone Warehouse pegs the Samsung Galaxy S III price at $809 with a free Galaxy Tab 10.1
Carphone Warehouse launched an exclusive preorder for the new Samsung Galaxy S III, and the preorder price is 499.95 pounds sterling, translating to about $809.

The retailer throws in a free Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet for the first 1000 customers that order on a pay-monthly basis, as well as a screen protector and car charger, so you can't really beat the deal.

Amazon Germany has updated its Galaxy S III page with the real specs, not the preliminary ones it had for the placeholder, but the preorder price is still kept at 600 Euros, or about $790.

What's in Euros over at the Old Continent usually arrives in the US with the same price in dollars, so we might be looking at the SIM-free price of an unlocked Galaxy S III to be in line with other flagships like the HTC One X, i.e. hovering a tad above the $600 mark. Expansys USA also has it on preorder, but doesn't list a price for now. Carrier subsidies will, of course, knock the price to the usual bearable levels.
