Budget beating Huawei Honor 4C and Huawei Honey Bee introduced in India
Huawei has introduced two new handsets in India today, and the pair are both budget beating devices. Priced at the equivalent of $78 USD, the Huawei Honey Bee is now the manufacturer's lowest price handset in the country. And the Huawei Honor 4C has the honor of being the company's second cheapest phone in India. The latter is offered at the equivalent of $141 USD.

So what do you get for $78 USD from Huawei? How about a 4.5-inch display carrying a resolution of 480 x 854. A Spreadtrum quad-core 1.2GHz SC7731 CPU is under the hood with 1GB of RAM inside. 8GB of expandable storage is on board. The phone has an 8MP rear camera and is powered by a 1730mAh battery.

The Huawei Honor 4C comes with a 5-inch 720 x 1280 resolution display. Under the hood is a home-grown 64-bit octa-core Kirin 620 CPU with the Mali-T450 GPU handling graphics. 2GB of RAM is inside. This model brings dual SIM support, a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP snapper in front. A 2550mAh juicer keeps the lights on.

Both phones have Android 4.4.4 pre-installed with EMUI 3.0 running on top. The Huawei Honor 4C can be purchased in India right now, while the Huawei Honey Bee is available for pre-orders.

The recently announce TCL (owners of Alcatel) ONO seem like the new budget phone to beat at $95. It includes: 5-inch 720p display, 5 mega-pixel front fracing camera, rear 13 mega-pixel camera with phase detection auto focus similar to Iphone 6, MaxxAudio similar to Oneplus and Oppo phones, a quad-core 64bit MT6735 chipset, Android 5.0, 2GB RAM,16GB internal storage, SD card support, dual SIM 4G LTE, and 2650mAh battery.
