BlackBerry Q10 launches in Pakistan
The QWERTY equipped BlackBerry Q10 is now available in Pakistan. Mobilink has the device on its website and in its stores priced at 70,000 Rs. ($710 USD). Ufone is taking pre-orders for the device, although a price is not yet listed on the web site. Sales could be brisk considering that Mobilink's site says that supplies are limited.

Meanwhile, all four U.S. carriers are going to be carrying the BlackBerry Q10. Sadly, those U.S. BlackBerry fans who have been patiently waiting for the Q10 to hit the market not only have to see the device launched in Pakistan, they have to watch as a pair of U.K. retailers are offering the device in white.

The BlackBerry Q10 is expected to perform well in the U.S. as many 'Berry fans want a device with the physical BlackBerry QWERTY on board. While the all-touch BlackBerry Z10 was an attempt to grab market share in the BYOD niche of the business market away from Android and the Apple iPhone, the Q10 is really designed for those BlackBerry users who won't stray. Recently, we told you about a pair of polls taken at BlackBerry Live. The first poll showed that 76% of BlackBerry owners believe that the Q10 is a strong enough device to keep them from straying to another platform. The second poll might be even more promising for the Canadian OEM. It showed that 64% of BlackBerry users who switched to Android or iOS are tempted by the BlackBerry Q10 to switch back.
