Beta version of Apex Launcher released, stable app coming soon

1comments

Once among the most popular Android launchers, Apex Launcher had been left unattended for the last two years, but that's about to change as developers announced last month they will start updating the app soon.

However, before launching new updates to Apex Launcher, the developer want users feedback, which is why they plan to kick off a beta program that will allow them to test new features and improvements before they go live in the Google Play store.

Those who wish to join the beta program should know that the beta version of Apex Launcher will replace the stable version. Moreover, you will continue to receive test versions as they are released via Google Play.

Obviously, since you'll be running a beta version of Apex Launcher, the app may be unstable and buggy, so feel free to leave the beta at any time if you don't want to continue to test the Android launcher.

It's also worth pointing out that a stable Apex Launcher version will be released in the Google Play store soon. Until then, you can go ahead and check out the beta version if you don't mind the bugs.
