Asus ROG Phone 2 now available for pre-order in the US
Officially unveiled two months ago, the powerful Asus ROG Phone 2 is finally coming to the United States. Unfortunately, the phone isn't really meant for the US market, so it's missing a lot of LTE bands.
For example, the smartphone is lacking T-Mobile's Band 12 and 71 are missing, while Sprint and Verizon support is not available at all. The only LTE band you'll be getting in the US is AT&T's, so buy it only if you're using it with this carrier.
If you've decided to go for Asus' flagship, then prepare to pay a decent amount: $900. AndroidPolice reports there are only two US retailers that are now taking pre-orders for the Asus ROG Phone 2 – B&H Video and Mobile Advance.
Once again, even though the listing at B&H says that this is the North American version of the Asus ROG Phone 2, the phone will not work with Sprint and Verizon at all, but you should not have any issues with AT&T.
