Arrow Launcher update makes it even more efficient, adds search gesture
Microsoft continues to deploy small but meaningful updates for its Android launcher, Arrow. The application is updated regularly, about one per month, but the beta version receives updates even more frequently.

We've reported in the past about Arrow Launcher's achievements, as developers seem to be focusing on making it as efficient and soft on memory as possible.

Today's update marks another step towards making Arrow Launcher one of the light on resources Android launchers available in the Google Play store.

The official changelog mentions the latest update should make Arrow Launcher around 10% more efficient than the previous version. We can always take better performance, even if it's just 10%.

Also, there's a new gesture that allows you to use the Search function much easier. Simply swipe down to open up the Search menu and start … searching.

Furthermore, Arrow Launcher users will now be able to customize the grid layout of apps page. There are a couple options that they can use, such as 4x5, 4x6, and a few more.

Speaking about customization, the update also adds the option to customize the type of content you want to display on the “Recent” page. And, last but not least, many bug fixes to wallpapers, widgets, and other features have been implemented too.
