Apple's latest product: a book

Apple's latest product: a book
Today Apple unveiled its latest product – a design book, containing 450 photos of Apple products. Some of the showcased designs date as far back as 1998's iMac. It also features information on the materials and techniques that Apple's design team used the past two decades. The book is named “Designed by Apple in California”.

Jony Ive, Apple's chief design officer, explained that the book is dedicated to the memory of Steve Jobs himself. Ive also explained the reasoning behind creating the book.

“Designed by Apple in California” will be available in two different editions – Small (10.20” x 12.75”), which will set you back $199 and Large (13” x 16.25”), carrying a $299 price tag. The book will be available at Apple's online store and select Apple Stores around the world, such as the ones in London, Syndey, Paris and Berlin, starting tomorrow (16 November, 2016).

I almost thought this was April 1st. Apple needs to release an additional statement that 75% of the proceeds of book sales are going to charity for this price. The ultimate coincidental coffee table accessory of the vain.

450 Photos of Apple products, bruh. Scammers could enrich themselves by selling fake copies of this book to those who idolize Jobs, as 300 bucks for a it is quite a lucrative deal.

"Wow 200 - 300 bucks for a book with products." Allow me to correct you.... Pictures of products...... Apple's desire for more money.... Their struggle is real.... Selling you for $300 a catalog of the products they sell. 99% of all other companies give them away for free. Anybody know of any other company that sells their product catalog?

"Their struggle is real...." They're struggling alright..... making 104% of the profit in the industry. So tragic is the downfall of a giant. But I do agree.... this book thing is stupid as f**k.

There's no such thing as 104% of profit. I wish people would stop saying that.

Let me correct you.. A product catalog shows products a comapny selling and that you can buy. This isnt a product catalog that shows products the company are selling and you can buy! This is more a memoire of Apples past and present products. But Im sure alot will buy it anyway.

Milking their fan base to the max! My advise to them is to get it since the next revision would be filled with nothing other than dongles.

Samsung begins to prepare its book. The most beautiful pages will be the pages of Note 7.

If Samsung made such a book, it would likely have better paper, binding and contain more information. And, it would make your rump soooooooo sore.

"Sheeps" Is it just me or do all Android pundits not know sheep is the plural of itself? Seriously, that's pathetic....

Good luck with that, I'll just enjoy my breakfast burrito with beef, bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese and hash browns. BTW you're made of about 80% animal flesh yourself.
