Apple opens Instagram account for iBooks just as new Harry Potter book launches

Apple has opened an official Instagram account for its iBooks store. The account was opened just in time for Apple to use it to promote the new Harry Potter book that was launched this weekend. A link on the page takes you to iTunes where you can order the book to read through iBooks for $14.99.

Apple promoted other books on its new social media page, but the new Potter book obviously drew the most interest. The book is related to the new Harry Potter play that launched in London's West End yesterday. Set in the future, Harry is the father of three and his kids are the main focus of the title. More of a script than a narration, the Special Rehearsal Edition is what the publisher is selling until early 2017. At that point, the Definitive Script will be available.

If you're interested in following Apple's new iBooks Instagram page, click on the sourcelink and sign into your Instagram account. You can then click on the "Follow" badge. Just put up today, the site has 2,851 followers.
