Amazon UK is now accepting pre-orders for the Acer ICONIA TAB A100
Although there appears to be some sort of leadership rearrangement going on with Acer, those who happen to be starving to check out one of Acer’s upcoming tablets will have the opportunity of picking up a pre-order right now – but it’s only available in the UK.

Online retail giant Amazon UK is now offering pre-orders for the Acer Aspire ICONIA TAB A100 for the price of £299.99 ($484). Surprisingly, we’re also greeted with an expected ship date of April 20th for this shiny 7” Android 3.0 Honeycomb powered tablet. That’s not too much of a wait to say the least, but with most things, its ship date can always fluctuate. Nonetheless, you can scope a pre-order now to guarantee yourself a unit when it becomes available – and of course, to be one of the first ones to sport it as well on your block.

In terms of pricing versus other similar tablets on the market, it’s definitely competitive considering the features it has to offer – such as an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a resolution of 1024 x 600.
