Vivo X7 receives its TENAA certification revealing the handset's specs

The Vivo X7 has received its TENAA certification. The regulatory agency is China's equivalent to the United States' FCC. The Vivo X7 and the Vivo X7 Plus are both expected to be unveiled on June 30th. According to TENAA, the X7 will carry a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. The Snapdragon 652 SoC is under the hood carrying an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU and the Adreno 510 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside, and there is 64GB of native storage.

A 13MP camera adorns the back of the unit while a 16MP front-facing camera is perfect for selfie junkies and those who like to connect via video chats. A fingerprint scanner is embedded inside the home button, and a 2930mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 5.1 is pre-installed. The handset measures a svelte 7.24mm thin, and weighs in at 151 grams. Color options include Gold and Rose Gold.

While the Vivo X7 Plus did not yet receive its TENAA certification (we expect this to happen shortly), the model should come equipped with a 5.7-inch display. Most of the remaining specs match those of the X7.

Vivo also released a teaser for the unveiling that will take place this coming Thursday. An image of the teaser accompanies this story.
