Samsung Galaxy S II Android ICS update now rolling to Europe and Asia

The official Samsung Tomorrow blog got the word out that the Samsung Galaxy S II owners who live in Korea, Poland, Hungary and Sweden will be getting the Android Ice Cream Sandwich treatment as soon as today via the Kies sync software, with other countries soon to follow.

We all know that the process for approving an Android update by the US carriers is way more convoluted than anywhere else, so American versions of the Galaxy S II will probably wait in line after all the other countries have gotten their sweet tooth fix.

Samsung said it will also be pushing very soon the Android 4.0 update to other devices in its Galaxy line, like the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II LTE and the Galaxy Tab 8.9/10.1 tablets.
